For over ten years, the client had carefully stored the engraved slate from their wedding day beneath the stairs. Originally used as part of the food display at their wedding reception, it carried their family name and wedding date but had remained hidden away ever since.
Their brief was simple: give the slate a new purpose and make it the centrepiece of their home. The result is a handcrafted solid European oak coffee table, precision-machined to house the original engraved slate within a seamless inlay—transforming a cherished wedding memory into something the family can enjoy every day.
